Alumni Annual Fund
The Alumni Annual Fund brings Exeter's student experience to life. Thanks to thousands of alumni and supporters, we fund the extra-curricular activities that help students thrive. Every year, donations support projects across sports clubs, societies, music and theatre groups, student conferences, outreach initiatives and more.
How it works
The Alumni Annual Fund supports projects across all University departments including the Students’ Guild and Student Union in both Exeter and Cornwall, the Athletics Union and academic faculties. We are able to provide funding to, on average, over 100 projects each year, typically dispersing over £150,000 annually to worthwhile initiatives across the University.
The more we raise, the more student ideas we can support.
How to give
Donations of all sizes help unlock opportunities for students. The Alumni Annual Fund works because many people give what they can, pooling together to create real change.

31 MSc Accounting and Finance and final year undergraduate students spent a productive day with YMCA Exeter, including a series of talks from senior YMCA staff about their mission, values and projects, as well as insights on charity accounting and grant writing. The students found the day enriching and came away with an idea of how they could make a difference in society. The day’s activities were funded by the Alumni Annual Fund.
